Down to Skye 19th August
Having achieved one location that I had been wanting to dive for some time I moved on down to one of my favourite places, Skye. This was yet another Yorkshire Divers gig and I had been looking forward to it for a while having booked my place on it spring 2005!
I decided to drive along the top of Scotland towards the west coast and down the coast towards Torriden and then onto Skye. I had heard that the mountains and scenery was pretty good in Sutherland and I was not disappointed. Although one day was showery I had some dramatic views of mountains dancing off into the distance row upon row, it was in a word….. fantastic. No camera can ever capture the magic of these landscapes and although I took a few snaps they only give a slight insight into the awesome scenery that is up there.
