What a brilliant month spent in my favourite place Scotland!
Travelling up to Orkney a week early so that I could have a look round the island before the weeks diving in Scapa Flow began I found some fascinating stuff.
It really is an amazing place with the amount of ancient sites many of which I visited that have been discovered making it pretty unique.
The week diving scapa went off very well with a great group of people from Yorkshire Divers Forum. With Hazel as the skipper on Stormdrift and Helen as her deckie we had a great week……. so much so that I’ve already put my name down for next years gig!
Once back on the mainland I travelled across the top of Scotland and down the west coast to Skye were I joined a second group firstly to dive the Port Napier and then regrouping on the Trotternish peninsular where we stayed in cottages for a week diving the coast round there.
